Servicing your watch is an important aspect of keeping your timepiece working as accurately as possible. We recommend that this is carried out roughly once every 5-6 years. This timeframe is also dependent on the model or make of the watch.

Servicing & Repair

Watch repairing and servicing consists of many different aspects, these include:

  • Carefully dismantling the watch casing
  • Giving the individual parts a meticulous deep clean
  • Maintaining and changing the lubricating oil to protect moving parts from additional friction that can cause damage
  • Re-casing and checking the seals of the watch to maintain its water resistance
  • Refinishing and polishing the case, bracelet or strap to keep it looking as good as new

In addition to the services listed above, we also offer battery replacement, waterproofing and timekeeping testing.

Servicing & Repair

As expert watchmakers, we guarantee that when a watch is brought in for servicing or repair that a member of our team will provide a careful assessment of your timepiece. By doing so, they can then advise you on the work that needs to be carried out. When you visit us, we will send your watch away to a service centre for horologist appraisal. All watches will be insured whilst they are in our possession.
